November and December have to be my favorite months of the year (outside of my Birthday month). The weather is getting cooler/cold which I love. It doesn’t snow much where I am currently living but those memories of snow days gone by - are absolutely wonderful.
As I talk about in one article, other people’s judgement put upon me for still loving the holidays bothers me but I will not let them steal my joy. I have so many delicious memories of the holidays and none of them are commercial related.
I love the celebration of the old and bringing in the new – looking forward to all the new possibilities and adventures – while embracing all that has happened during the year. 2025 has been a difficult year but there are things that we can celebrate.
I did something new at the end of 2024 - I made the decision to track all the movies, tv series and books I enjoyed in 2025 so now I can share My Top Ten of 2025. I am also excited (and scared at the same time) to make my plans for 2026 - like finishing, prompting and selling my novel; buying a camper van which we can use for our trip to our family reunion. This way my folks would have to use a public restroom and we can stop to take naps/rest if we need to.
In Conclusion
I’m feeling good about the start of my online magazine (these 4 issues/publications) and am looking forward to having a full year of publications – I’m aiming to make them more personal as I continue to look for employment and finish my novel. I'm hoping my novel and (maybe) social media will allow me to pay off my credit cards and have a monthly income that will allow me to travel and not stress so much.
